The OBC provides a variety of useful background information on appointments to the District's board and Commissions. The Boards and Commissions Profiles listing is arranged alphabetically, grouped by topic, and includes a search engine to assist in research. Each description includes the duties of the board or commission, its policy and legal guidelines, the necessary criteria and qualifications for appointments, the appointment process, and the terms of membership. We also provide resources for occupational and professional licensing boards, application forms, vacancy listings and more.
